Crackers, one of these things that I have always liked. The bite and crunchiness, love it!
Unfortunately most of them contain refined sugar and are overly processed. So not always the healthiest choice. But that is going to change now, ones you have tried this recipe, I am sure you will be addicted. These home made seed crackers are all you need: delicious, nutritious, free of refined sugars and with lots of love and a crunchy bite inside!
Healthy seed crackers
Looking for a healthy alternative to the overly processed store bought crackers? This recipe is all you need! Delicious, nutritious, refined sugar free, home-made crackers with lots of love and a crunchy bite inside.
Ingredients
- 75 gr sunflower seeds
- 50 gr pumpkin seeds
- 15 gr flax seeds ground
- 35 gr chia seeds
- 15 gr sesame seeds
- 10 gr black sesame seeds
- 15 gr hemp seeds optional
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1 tbsp honey raw
- 170 ml water
Instructions

preheat the oven to 170 degrees Celcius (hot air oven)

mix all the dry ingredients in a medium sized bowl

add the water and honey and stir well. Let it sit for 15 to 20 minutes, until all water is absorbed

line a baking tray with a sheet of baking paper. Add the mixture and spread it evenly until it is approx 3 to 4 mm thick

bake in the oven for 50 minutes. to 1 hour. If they darken quickly, you can reduce the temperature to 150 or 160 degrees after 30 minutes

once ready, let it cool down before you break it into pieces

Vegan? Replace honey with pure maple sirup
Store the crackers in an airtight container to keep the crunch
