Bliss balls are a true treat for me and fit really well in a lifestyle with intense sports like ashtanga yoga. So yes, I am addicted!
This time I wanted to try something different, less sweet, and with some superpower. So Matcha it is, this antioxidant powerhouse has lots and lots of health benefits, which you and I should not ignore. It gives the bliss balls a slightly bitter taste, which I think combines well with the sweetness of the dates and apricots. Did you already try matcha?

Matcha bliss balls
Bliss balls are a true treat. This version with matcha green tea powder, does not only look nice, the taste is also incredible. A slight bitter taste with balances well with the sweet flavours of dates and apricots
Ingredients
- 50 gr raw almonds unroasted, unsalted
- 25 gr raw hazelnuts
- 8 gr flax seeds broken (1 tbsp)
- 70 gr medjool dates deseeded
- 50 gr apricots unsulforized
- 1 tsp vanilla powder
- 1 tbsp raw cacao powder
- 2 tbsp matcha powder
- 1,5 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 30 gr coconut oil melted
Instructions

Process almonds, hazelnuts and flax seeds in your foodprocessor until flour like

Add the other ingredients and process until they form a ball

Wet your hands a little bit and form 20 small bliss balls

Garnish with some raw cacao and matcha powder
