Nuts, nuts, nuts, are you also nuts about them? I love everything that you can do with them, from nut butter to granola, to nut bread, to tossing them in a salad, to these gorgeous honey and cinnamon oven roasted nuts!
It is not for nothing that there is a famous proverb that states:
“A handful of nuts a day will keep the doctor away”
But why are they so healthy? Well, because they contain good nutrients:
- Protein
- Unsaturated fat
- Omega-3 fatty acids
- Fiber
- Vitamin E
And more… But be aware that a nut is mostly fat, so serving sized are small in order to fit in a healthy lifestyle.
These caramelised nuts are delicious to eat just like this or use as a topping for your breakfast or dessert!
