Blueberries and oats, I think they are a perfect match! Especially in this breakfast smoothie. Inspired by the oat milkshake recipe of Magda from Oatmeal Stories, I really wanted to try this oat-smoothie thing. Oats are a great source of nutrients, as blueberries are.
Add some more of your favourite ingredients like hemp seeds, nut butter, medjool dates, banana and cinnamon and all of a sudden you have this most smoothie and silky smoothie you can imagine. Packed with protein, fiber, natural sugars, anti-oxidants, I think this blueberry oatmeal smoothie is a perfect way to start you day. It proves again how versatile oatmeal is.

Ingredients
- 60 gr oats
- 120 ml warm water
- 120 gr banana 1 large one, optionally frozen
- 100 gr frozen blueberries
- 30 gr medjoul dates 2 pieces
- 175 gr unsweetened almond milk
- 10 gr hemp seeds
- 15 gr almond butter
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon ceylon
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions

soak the oats in warm water for 30 minutes

put all the ingredients in your (high-speed) blender and blend until it becomes a smooth and creamy mixture
