Natural anti-flu and cough syrup made from elderberry juice, thyme and honey
Wash the thyme
Heat the elderberry juice and thyme and let it simmer for 10 minutes. Turn of the heat, put the lid on and let it rest over night
Sieve the juice and reheat it. Turn of the heat the moment it boils
Add the honey and stir till it is resolved
Carefully poor the syrup into sterilised glass bottels or jars
To boost your immune system adults can take 1 tbsp a day and children, over the age of one, 1 tsp.
Having a cold, flu, sore throat or feeling sick? Take 1 to 2 tbsp max. 4 times per day. For children 1 to 2 tsp.
Do not exceed the maximum dosage of 4 times per day, as elderberries can have a slight diarhetic effect.
